How the DCA planner works
From capacity questions to a written contribution schedule and PC calculator scenarios you can reopen between reviews.
This page walks through the planning process we use for Smart Crypto Calculator PC–style dollar-cost averaging work: human session first, calculator second.
Step-by-step
Intake
After you request a date, we send a short questionnaire: pay cycle, fixed costs, assets, venues, and any contribution history. Incomplete answers slow the live hour — we would rather reschedule than guess.
Capacity map
In session we mark the amount you can fund without borrowing from rent or emergency savings. That number becomes the ceiling for all calculator scenarios.
Cadence design
Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly buys are chosen against payday and fee structure — not against charts. Missed-week rules are written down so you are not inventing policy under stress.
PC calculator pass
We model base, stretch, and pause scenarios on the desktop planner. You keep the files to reopen on your Windows PC when salary or fees change.
Written plan
Within two business days you receive the schedule PDF and scenario notes. Clarification email is included for seven days.
Between appointments
Use the PC calculator freely. When the written plan needs human judgement again — new job, new asset, or a long pause — book a contribution schedule review.
Store listing
The desktop calculator is listed separately. Session fees on this site never include a forced download.
